Transaction Analysis

Commodity Classification

Commodity Jurisdiction
If a Commodity Classification indicates that trade-control authorization may be required, MK Technology can help determine whether formal jurisdiction lies with the Commerce, Defense, State, Treasury or other Departments.

Internal Control Programs
MK Technology is an expert in the design and implementation of Internal Compliance Programs (ICPs) which will help your company achieve top export compliance. An ICP governs how export managers and staff do their daily jobs. The U.S. government considers an absent - or weak - ICP a major negative.

Our Import/Export Enforcement assessments evaluate alleged violations, importer/exporter’s use of reasonable care, exposure to criminal prosecution and civil penalties, and potential strategies including defenses, voluntary disclosures and settlements/offers in compromise. These assessments help clients identify and resolve gaps to address and mitigate the impact of a Government investigation, saving clients money and avoiding disruption of business and negative publicity.

Governments are looking closely at technology transfer by major research institutions, including both the university community and national laboratories, and at companies.
